Teenage Network played a lead role in the inaugural Nigerian Feminist Youth Coalition for Gender-Transformative Education, organized by UNGEI and UNESCO in December 2024. The coalition aims to amplify the voices of young feminists advocating for gender transformative educational systems that challenge harmful gender norms and promote equality.
Our team actively contributed to shaping conversations on how education can empower youth, especially girls, to dismantle patriarchal structures and drive social change. Teenage Network highlighted the need for inclusive, gender-responsive policies that address the unique challenges faced by marginalized groups.
This collaboration with UNGEI and UNESCO marks a significant step in our ongoing mission to advocate for education that is truly transformative for all young people, ensuring that they have the tools to lead and create a more equitable future.
